IpsiHand Brain-Computer Interface technology
IpsiHand is a breakthrough, FDA-cleared non-invasive BCI device. Using EEG, this technology trains the brain to use signals from an undamaged area of the brain to regain control of the upper extremity. IpsiHand is Durable Medical Equipment (DME), used by chronic stroke patients in their homes, and follow-up consults can be managed directly by Kandu to monitor your patient’s progress.

In addition, Kandu offers multidisciplinary, telehealth support to help patients maximize their stroke recovery. Patients receive 1:1 education, care coordination, advocacy, and resource connections. Our Occupational Therapists support IpsiHand patients to optimize therapeutic gains, translate functional improvements into activities of daily living, and document progress with regular, validated clinical assessments.
